If you are educating your child at home and would like to meet like minded people to enjoy the great outdoors, come and join us!
The Home Education group is run using the Forest School ethos by a qualified Forest School Leader. It takes place in Acorn Wood and gives children a chance to play and learn in a woodland environment.
It is aimed at 5 – 11 year olds but there is the flexibility to accommodate other siblings to make it a family experience.
Parents are welcome to stay but don’t have to. However, if you wish to bring a child under 5, we do ask that an adult stay to supervise them.
They are welcome to join in the activities.
We are also offering family discounts for more than one child from the same family.
Activities are tailored to the children’s interests and include the following:
- Discovering wildlife
- Stories
- Making things using woodland materials
- Creative craft
- Using tools
- Den building
- Campfire cooking
- Helping wildlife
Mondays 10.00 – 12 noon

Costs:
£66 for the Half Term
Family discounts
£11.00 for first child
£10.00 for the second child (in the same family)
£9.00 for other family members
Fees are due even if your child is absent.
