On the beach at Felpham near the Yacht Club, there is a chalk outcrop which provides homes for a number of marine species that are normally found on a rocky coast.

Felpham Beach is good for investigating:

  • Rocky shore creatures
  • Shoreline habitats
  • Tides
  • Coastal erosion and sea defences
  • Crafts using beach materials
  • Human impact on the environment
